The campground offers various types and sizes of campsites and 50 horse stalls, available on a first come, first served basis, trailer parking and a dump station making it convenient for visitors to bring their beloved horses along for a dream vacation. The campground borders 300,000 acres of National Forest and has easy access to miles of trails, including the West Fork River Trail, Allegheny Trail, High Falls of Cheat, and the Greenbrier River trails, that weave through the lush landscape, where riders can explore the beauty of West Virginia on horseback, creating unforgettable memories amidst the natural splendor. Transportation is also available to take you and your horse out to specific trails so you can keep your personal trailer set up to stable your horse, if needed.
Bring your horse and spend the day or the week (or more) with us and enjoy the best horseback riding Pocahontas County and the Monongahela National Forest have to offer. The clearly marked trails cover hundreds of miles of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine, with views that can take your breath away. Maps of the variety of easy, intermediate, and challenging horse trails have been put together by the Forest Service, and new trails are being added for the coming season.
